WHAT WILL I BE ABLE TO DO AFTER A HEWNWOOD TIMBER FRAME COURSE?
For some people it is a matter of trying something new. Picking up new skills, whilst having a relaxing time in the woodland off grid environment.
For others it might be a self build project or a desire to take up Timber framing up as a future career.
Some people just naturaly gravitate to wood !

MICHAEL CALE
Michael came on the Hewnwood Basic & Adanced Courses. He also had some one to one tuition at a later date.
He then went home and created a Hewnwood style workspace and persevered to complete his own house frame.
BEN JERMEY
After the Course, Ben came to help out a few times for extra experience.
He is now a professional Timber Framer.
BEN LEAH
After leaving the Marines and then doing a Hewnwood timber frame course, Ben managed to get a full time position with a Timber Frame company.
JAMES FARRELL
After his Hewnwood Course, James commissoned me to do a set of working drawings. He then built himself this impresive Cider Barn in Somerset with some help from a local carpenter.
MIKE DENNIS
Came on a Timber Frame Course in 2008
He stayed on with us to do a full Apprenticeship and now runs a timber frame company in France
CHRIS YORK
Chris is an Osteopath from West Wales
After his Course at Hewnwood he went on to build this very impressive Oak frame Extention.
DAN CRUNDEN
After Dan came on the Hewnwood Timber Frame Course he stayed on as a volunteer to gain some more experience.
He has gone on to do a variety of woodworking projects and is now a specialist in recreating siege weapons for Welsh Castles!

After a 10 day course went on to make this fantastic shed!
